GTA 6 Map Three Times Larger Than Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature a world map three times the size of its predecessor, Red Dead Redemption 2. The upcoming title also reportedly boasts an 80-hour campaign length and returns players to Vice City.
A New York Times report citing developer interviews highlighted the scale of the project, noting the map is twice as large as GTA 5's area. Additionally, the game contains over 600,000 animations, a significant increase from the 300,000 found in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Studio boss Aaron Garbut emphasized the attention to detail, stating that every room was carefully considered during development. Some YouTubers have recently gained exclusive access to view gameplay footage from Rockstar.
